Stateline Wine & Spirit Shop was founded in 2007 with the goal of helping locals, weekenders and day trippers celebrate special occasions, enjoy a vacation in Northwest Connecticut or plan a intimate dinner at home. Nestled in the hills, surrounded by trees, lakes and rivers our area of the state is filled with things to do such as fly fishing (we’re famous for it), biking, camping, hiking, kayaking, tubing, cinemas, restaurants and more. We certainly love it here and hope you do too!

With over 5600 square feet of floor space we are able to offer a wide selection of wine, beer and spirits that are sure to compliment any occasion, menu and budget. Our stores are always fully stocked with fine wine, IPA’s, beer, spirits and kegs, with new items arriving on a weekly basis. If you don’t see something you’re looking for, please ask.

Whether you are seeking out a new discovery or an old favorite it is our goal to make your search fun and stress-free by providing knowledgeable staff, extensive selection with great tunes that make your shopping experience an adventure. We often see people dancing in the aisles while searching for their favorite wine or IPA.

We are conveniently located in the Stop & Shop Plaza directly in the center of Canaan, CT. Plenty of parking and easy access makes us the perfect shopping destination for anyone. Carry-to-your-car service always available by our friendly team.
